Chosen as team leader of five interdisciplinary graduate students (architecture, planning, real estate, landscape) and working together, we designed and proposed a large scale urban development project for ULI's Toronto prompt.  "Trans+ion" is wedged between two urban conditions:  a 50-story office development, and a single-family neighborhood; and the site is intersected by multiple different transportation infrastructures.  Our design mitigated these drastically differing neighborhood scales and energized the space created in between through a transportation node and public space from which to affix a burgeoning city center.
